Inside Our In-Person Korean Skincare Training

Inside Our In-Person Korean Skincare Training

Posted by Sarah Kinsler-Holloway on

When we’re all committed to a shared goal, united by our passion for the industry, and connected through both the challenges and the truly rewarding parts of this work.

Our in-person trainings were built around that feeling. They’re not just classes. They’re experiences designed to help you grow as an esthetician and feel more connected to the esthetic community around you.

If you’ve been curious about what a Kin training is really like, here’s a closer look inside.

A Two-Day Immersive Learning Experience

Our trainings are intentionally structured over two days so students can ease into the material, absorb it fully, and experience the techniques in a real, live environment.

Day One: Theory, Foundations & Understanding the Why

The first day is dedicated to the fundamentals. We walk through the science, the protocols, the product philosophy, and the “why” behind every step. Students have the space to sit, absorb, take notes, and ask every question that comes to mind. It’s a slower, more intentional day—designed to build the foundation that every confident esthetician needs.

Day Two: Live Treatment Observation

Day two is where everything comes to life.

You’ll observe real treatments from start to finish, watching how theory translates to practice. You’ll see different skin types, various presentations, and how techniques shift in response. This day tends to be the most impactful: it’s often where things click. For many students, seeing the work unfold in real time is what gives them the confidence to bring these methods back to their own practice.

Small, Intimate Groups—By Design

We keep every training intentionally small. That’s not a marketing line—it’s a philosophy.

Small groups allow:

  • Space to ask as many questions as you want

  • Time for one-on-one guidance

  • An environment where you can develop real relationships with others

  • The opportunity to slow down and truly integrate what you’re learning

When you’re not competing for attention or fighting through noise, you absorb more. You connect more deeply. And you walk away feeling certain—not overwhelmed.

A Space to Learn… and a Space to Connect

One of our favorite parts of these trainings is watching complete strangers come together and leave as friends. Some of our estheticians have stayed in touch long after the training ends—meeting up in their cities, supporting each other online, or collaborating on their businesses.

Community is a foundational part of Kin. We believe estheticians don’t just need education—they need connection, belonging, and the feeling of being surrounded by people who “get it.” Each training becomes a small community of its own.

Support That Doesn’t End When Class Does

When the training is over, the support doesn’t disappear. Students stay connected to us and can continue asking questions as they start using the techniques in their own businesses. We’re invested in your growth—not just for two days, but for the long run.

We want you to feel confident, supported, and empowered as you implement what you’ve learned.

More Than a Class—It’s an Experience

Our trainings are built around small details that make a big difference. We want the space to feel thoughtful, generous, and warm—an extension of our brand and the care behind what we do.

Every student receives:

  • Catered lunches so you can eat, rest, and connect between sessions

  • Free gifts and products to explore

  • Printed catalogs for easy reference

  • Beautifully designed workbooks, created to guide you during and after the training

  • Additional materials and surprises that make the two days feel elevated, intentional, and special

We believe education should feel like an experience—not an obligation. Our hope is that you leave feeling inspired, seen, supported, and ready to take your practice to a new level.

If You’ve Been Thinking About Joining Us…

We’d love to welcome you into one of our upcoming trainings. Whether you’re new to professional Korean skincare or looking to deepen your skillset, we’ve created a space where you can learn at your own pace, be part of a community, and truly immerse yourself in the artistry of esthetics.
