4 Products To Recommend To Your Clients After Chemical Peels

Posted by Sarah Kinsler-Holloway on

A chemical peel is only as good as the aftercare.  True or false?
I say true, and so here are 4 products I highly recommend to either use or sell to your clients after their chemical peel.

Repair Cream

KrX's Repair Cream is like no post-care cream I've ever tried.
This ointment like cream comes in little packets which makes it easy to give to peel clients for their aftercare (not recommended for the Green Sea Peel, it's too hydrating)

It contains Ganoderma Extract, also known as Reishi mushroom, a staple in traditional Chinese medicine. When applied to skin, it can interrupt the enzyme tyrosinase, which in turn visibly reduces hyperpigmentation.

Cnidium fruit extract is antimicrobial and is also an anti-itch agent which makes it especially wonderful post peel. The Repair cream can be used with other brands other than KrX!

Phellinus Linteus mushroom greatly improves collagen retention in the skin, and increases the skin's natural ability to hydrate and retain moisture.
The smell from the cream is from the botanicals contained within the formula is not added fragrance.

Beta Glucan Mask

Beta Glucan, macromolecule polysaccharide from schizophyllum commune, is a natural polymer which promotes healthy skin flora, and provides antioxidant protection.

This pure, fragrance free beta-glucan hydrogel mask soothes and hydrates the skin, and accelerates healing post chemical peel.

Tranexamic Homecare Mask

The Tranexamic Acid Homecare Masks make a great follow up treatment to chemical peels.  Tranexamic Acid not only inhibits melanin production but it also has the unique ability to reduce heat within the skin.

These are a must for clients prone to hyperpigmentation.

For use immediately after chemical peels to calm the skin, or to be retailed to clients for home use.

Corthe Re Gel

This thick and occlusive gel instantly seals in moisture in the skin.  Re Gel is a great alternative to vaseline to create an occlusive barrier.

Apply this thick gel overtop of the Repair Cream to really seal in moisture.

Pro Tip:  Recommend to your outdoor sports enthusiasts to protect their skin.
