Methyl Aminolevulinate (MAL) which is the main ingredient in PD-13 acts as a precursor to a molecule called protoporphyrin IX, which makes skin cells sensitive to light. In photodynamic therapy (PDT), MAL is applied topically, then activated by PDT, generating reactive oxygen species (ROS) that damage targeted cells, including acne-causing bacteria and inflamed tissues. 

It can treat moderate to severe acne, Actinic Keratosis, Rosacea and other skin growths, even on scalp.

1. Cleanse the skin
2. Perform extractions if needed
3. Apply PD-13 and cover face with towel for 20 minutes
4. Remove PD-13 treatment and use RED light for 20 minutes
5. Apply Neutralizer and leave on for 3 minutes
6. Apply Moisturizer and SPF
