Antioxidant-rich spirulina calms and cools sensitive, irritated skin and is an excellent way to lock in serums and boost hydration. 

Spirulina contains high concentrations of beta carotene and phycocyanin, which naturally protect the skin from cell degeneration and oxidative stress due to free radical exposure. This action boosts skin radiance and reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles, effectively turning back the clock on the aging process while nourishing the skin from within.

The mask is enhanced with electrolytes and packed with nutrients, including B vitamins, iron, zinc, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids, promoting long-term skin health by sealing in moisture and strengthening the skin’s barrier function.

KrX’s Spirulina Modeling Mask also contains Alginate, a polysaccharide derived from brown seaweed that promotes healing while firming and hydrating the skin. When mixed with water, the mask has a gel-like consistency that quickly conforms to facial contours. It is ideal for locking in serums following facial treatments to maximize hydration or on its own to hydrate, soothe, calm, and cool the skin.

I found this Spirulina Jelly Mask incredible for calming sensitive and inflamed skin, especially post-peel. The only thing to note is the texture — it’s a bit softer and more fluid than other jelly masks, but the calming effect makes it totally worth it.
