Carboxy therapy works by activating the Bohr effect, delivering a concentrated surge of oxygen deep into the skin to counteract oxidative stress and free radical damage. I use it on clients who do not like chemical peel, Rosacea, and any skin that needs hydration or is compromised. The results are fantastic. I let it sit for 20 minutes then remove mask and residue with wet, cold esthetic wipes. The skin looks hydrated, healthy, and ready for a cool and hydrating mask.
