Meet Thesera G

Thesera G is a professional spicule regeneration therapy — a treatment that delivers what Thesera describes as post-laser results, without a single device in the room. It uses sea sponge spicules which are gently pushed into the skin by rubbing and tapping. Once inside the skin, they stimulate the cells for approximately 72 hours.

That stimulation window is everything. While your client goes about through their week, the treatment is still working — triggering cellular turnover + boosting dermal density.

What exactly is a spicule?

A spicule is a naturally occurring micro-needle structure found in sea (or freshwater) sponge. Under a microscope it looks like a tiny needle — because functionally, that's what it is. When applied to the skin and worked in through rubbing and tapping, these microscopic structures penetrate the upper layers of the skin and anchor themselves.

Think of it as mechanical stimulation without a machine. And active ingredients penetrate through the natural microneedle-shaped spicule made by a patented manufacturing method, so the absorbed ingredients restore the damaged skin at the same time the spicules are doing their work.

What it actually treats

Thesera G is effective for acne and congested skin, hyperpigmentation and uneven tone, fine lines and wrinkles, textural irregularities, enlarged pores, scarring, dullness, and overall loss of dermal density. It works on every skin type and every skin tone, and it's adjustable based on sensitivity — which makes it one of the most versatile professional treatments you can have in your menu.

What to expect — for you and your client

Results are visible after the first treatment, and they keep improving. Most clients see optimal results after three treatments, and the transformation in skin texture and tone tends to be the kind that makes people stop and ask what's different.

Post-treatment, the skin can be pink and sensitive — which is completely normal and expected. Clients will feel the spicules in their skin for up to 72 hours, so it's important they understand not to rub products in during that window — gentle tapping only. Peeling may occur in the three to seven days.

Aftercare matters here. The at-home products following Thesera G are not optional — they're part of the protocol and protect the results. This is actually a great opportunity to build retail into the service naturally, because the need for home care is built right into the treatment design.

The no-device advantage

There's a lot of conversations lately around devices, and estheticians who feel limited by what they can offer without the use of devices. Well, Thesera G closes that gap!
