Transitioning the Treatment Room for Winter Months

Transitioning the Treatment Room for Winter Months

Posted by Sarah Kinsler-Holloway on

Transitioning your treatment room for the winter months is so much fun (at least we think so).  It's an opportunity to create a warm and cozy environment, making our clients feel extra cared for during the colder months. Here are some ways we can transition our treatment room to get it winter-ready.

Textures and Warm Blankets

There is nothing better than a duvet on a treatment table. It pulls everything together and feels more substantial than a throw blanket. Weighted blankets can also provide comfort and a sense of relaxation during treatments. Bedsure makes amazing duvet covers.

Offer cozy socks

Have you ever had a facial where your entire body is warm, except for your feet? It's the worst! Offering your clients cozy socks to put on can make their treatment that much more enjoyable.

Seasonal smells

We're not big on scents in the treatment room in general, but there are ways to make our treatment rooms smell nice naturally. Cinnamon, clove, and vanilla are all smells synonymous with winter.  These scents can add an inviting winter aroma, making the room feel extra welcoming.

Switch up the music

And we're not talking holiday music. There are so many amazing lofi channels and playlists on spotify and apple music! Sd

Provide Winter-Specific Treatments

Consider offering seasonal add-ons. This can also be a great way to address winter-related skin and body needs. This can include hydrating mitts, scalp care, body wraps and more!
